The Cost of Fouling and Deposits
Over time, scale, fouling and corrosion products accumulate on the internal surfaces of process equipment. They reduce heat transfer and flow capacity, raise energy consumption and increase the risk of unplanned outages and premature equipment failure. Left unaddressed, they place both production targets and asset integrity at risk.

What Chemical Cleaning Involves
Chemical cleaning is a specialized process that removes unwanted deposits from the surfaces and internal walls of industrial equipment, including pipes, tubes, tanks, heat exchangers, boilers and vessels. Applied correctly, it restores performance and safety while protecting the integrity of the base material.
CHC Chemical serves refineries, power plants and manufacturing facilities, designing each program around the specific requirements of the application. Our scope covers the cleaning of equipment in operation, pre-commissioning cleaning and passivation of new installations, and applications in water purification and treatment.

Engineered Procedure
A cleaning procedure covering chemical selection, isolation, circulation and safety controls is prepared for owner approval.
Controlled Cleaning
The cleaning solution is circulated under monitored conditions until the specified level of deposit removal is achieved.
Neutralization and Passivation
The system is neutralized, rinsed and, where specified, passivated to protect metal surfaces before return to service.
Inspection and Handover
Results are verified with the owner, waste is handled in line with regulations, and the equipment is handed back for service.
